The CTD Water Tube Boilers are the result of over 40 years of experience in the industrial, petrochemical, and power generation industries by our partner in manufacturing, Bono Energia. These boilers are made of the highest quality, through years of experience in heat transfer, welding technology and pressure vessel design.
The CTD & CTD-S Water Tube Boilers utilize the modern design of a “D” shaped design, consisting of two drums that are mounted at the top and bottom of the boiler with expanded vertical tubes surrounding the furnace chamber. The CTD-S is our lower steam production boiler, which is delivered as a packaged model of the CTD. The CTD is our higher steam production water tube boiler that must be field erected.
The CTD has the opportunity to be supplied with a variety of forced draft burners provided by some of the world’s leading burner manufactures. This allows us to utilize a variety of fuels, meet stringent emissions requirements, and even allow our customers the opportunity to select the burner of their choice.
The CTD-PA is our high efficiency option of the CTD Water Tube Boiler. The CTD-PA is supplied with a combustion air preheater at the burner side of the heater.
The CTD-ECO is our feedwater preheater option of the CTD Water Tube Boiler. The feedwater preheater utilizes an economizer to preheat the water entering the steam generator. This enables the customer to obtain optimum performance of the generator by supplying the necessary feed water temperatures to the Firetube Boiler.
The CTD, CTD-PA, and CTD-ECO Water Tube Boilers are designed and constructed to various local code requirements around the world. The most common codes are ASME with National Board registration for the United States, CRN for Canada, and CE/PED/TUV/DIN for Europe. Additional code requirements may be met if necessary.
Ancillary system components are available for both the CTD, CTD-PA, and CTD-ECO Water Tube Boilers. These components can be supplied to meet each of our customers’ needs, including but not limited to: control panel, feedwater pumps, feedwater tanks, deaerator, water treatment, and ancillary components. These auxiliary components are typically fabricated in the USA for USA/Canada installations.
